New School Year Job Opening for Oklahoma-Licensed Speech Language Pathologist 

Sunbelt Staffing is now teaming up with a school district near the Arkansas City, KS area! The district is looking for an exceptional Speech Language Pathologist who can join the team for the upcoming new school year. The district is located very close to the Kansas/Oklahoma state border, and it is on the Oklahoma side. The SLP will need to be licensed in Oklahoma by the time the position begins. We are looking for an SLP who can work onsitehas prior experience working in a school setting, and is looking to join a supportive team. Sunbelt is assisting the school in the hiring and onboarding process. We are actively interviewing applicants for this upcoming job opening. 

Additional Details: 

  • Start Date: TBD but will likely be in mid-August
  • Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week 
  • PreK - 8th Grade students
    • Primarily servicing students in PreK-5th grade 
    • 2-3 schools, but will primarily be in the Elementary school building
    • Further caseload details may be covered during the interview 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluations & assessments
  • Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Educating students and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events
  • Keeping detailed records relating to student conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress
  • Reporting progress and status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals


  • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology
  • ASHA CCC's
  • Oklahoma Speech Pathologist license
  • Oklahoma DOE Teaching Certification
  • 2+ years of direct school experience (preferred)
