Your Role:
As a Virtual School Social Worker with VocoVision, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' social-emotional development and overall well-being through virtual counseling and intervention services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting virtual assessments to identify students' social-emotional needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
  • Providing virtual counseling and support services to address students' mental health concerns and promote positive coping skills.
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive school environment.
  • Utilizing our Virtual Toolkit and resources to enhance counseling sessions and support student success.
  • Documenting intervention plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with state and federal regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Valid 310 certification and state licensure as a School Social Worker in Michigan.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a school social worker, preferably in a virtual or remote setting.
  • Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and digital assessment tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for supporting students' social-emotional well-being.
