Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Travel Position)

Location: Germantown, MD

Requirements:

Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or NMTCB)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Willingness to travel to different locations as needed

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel position in Germantown, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely patient care.

Responsibilities:

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to established protocols
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Operate imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET scanners
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to nuclear medicine procedures
Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities
