Job Description

Sunbelt is looking to hire an Interventional Radiology Technologist to fill needs at a facility in Jackson, Tennessee. Two year experience in the field is preferred. Must have updated resume and two professional references ready.

Responsibilities:

Procedure Assistance:
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in performing a variety of interventional procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Imaging Equipment Operation:
- Operate and maintain specialized radiology equipment, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and ultrasound systems, to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic and interventional purposes.
- Monitor and adjust imaging parameters as needed during procedures.
Patient Care:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after interventional procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their concerns and providing clear instructions related to the procedures.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Additional certification in Interventional Radiography is preferred.
State licensure as a radiologic technologist.
