Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for an Emergency Room Nurse for a travel assignment in Rochester, New York!

Shift:

Day and Night shift rotating
Every other weekend

Responsibilities:

Perform triage assessments to rapidly evaluate and prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition and the urgency of their medical needs.
Initiate and coordinate appropriate interventions and treatments for patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies, including trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and neurological deficits.
Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program preferred; Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
