Location: Dallas, TX

Shift: 4x10 Day Shift with Call

Job Description: As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in the diagnostic process by producing high-quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds. Working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will assist in diagnosing various cardiovascular conditions and contribute to the overall treatment plan for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and vascular ultrasounds according to department protocols and physician orders.
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and image acquisition to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret and analyze imaging results.
  • Maintain proper documentation of procedures and patient records.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cardiac sonographer.
  • Proficiency in performing echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to work a 4x10 day shift schedule with on-call rotation.
