Job Description

At Sunbelt, our remote educators specializing in teaching the deaf and hard of hearing bring their extensive expertise into a virtual classroom environment, delivering essential services to students nationwide.

Our teachers can efficiently conduct lessons, assessments, participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. 

Currently, we are assisting a California school district in the recruitment of a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to manage a K-12 caseload for the remainder of the academic year.

Job Requirements:

  • Possession of a California TDHH license
  • 2 years of experience working in school-based setting

Job Details:

  • Attend IEP meetings as required 
  • Compile progress reports
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments
  • Collaborate with on-site teachers
