VocoVision, a leading provider of teletherapy services, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Digital School Social Worker to join our team. This remote position involves working with K-12 students who have mild to moderate diagnoses and is ideal for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on students' lives. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

  2. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies.

  3. Provide counseling and support to students with mild to moderate diagnoses through virtual sessions.

  4. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of IEPs.

  5. Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.

  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions and interventions.

  7. Promote a positive and inclusive virtual classroom environment.

  8. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of school social work.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

  2. State licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility to obtain licensure.

  3. Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with mild to moderate diagnoses.

  4. Strong understanding of the IEP process and experience in IEP development and implementation.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  6. Proficiency in using technology and online platforms for virtual sessions.

  7. Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  8. Reliable internet connection and a quiet, private workspace for virtual sessions.
