Job Description

Sunbelt is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a school nurse opportunity near Bruce, WA. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of our school community. The ideal candidate will be able to work the following:

Responsibilities:

Health Room Management: Manage the daily operations of the health room, including maintaining a clean and organized environment conducive to providing quality nursing care.
Direct Nursing Care: Provide direct nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and management of illnesses and injuries, ensuring the safety and comfort of all patients.
Health Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students, documenting assessments, treatments, and communications with parents and healthcare providers.
Review of Health Room Procedures: Regularly review and update health room procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
Support for Nursing Assistants: Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants and other support staff working in the health room, ensuring they adhere to established protocols and provide high-quality care to students.
Assistance with School Screenings: Assist with conducting school health screenings, such as vision and hearing tests, and collaborate with school staff to ensure timely follow-up and appropriate interventions for students identified with health concerns.
Communication Bridge: Serve as a liaison between parents, school staff, and healthcare providers, facilitating communication and coordination of care to meet the individual needs of students.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) License
CPR Certification
WA state fingerprints

Details:

Monday- Friday
Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
