Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher for a position in the Bloomington, MN area. This role will involve working with students with diverse learning needs within a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities:

Adapting general education lesson plans to meet the needs of special education students
Developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and facilitating IEP meetings
Providing customized instruction to address the unique needs of each student
Collaborating closely with general education teachers and support staff to implement necessary accommodations and modifications
Continuously assessing student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
Valid Special Education Teacher certification/license in Minnesota
Prior experience in special education settings is advantageous
Proficiency in developing and executing IEPs
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
