Location: East Orange, NJ

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to students and staff members in accordance with professional nursing standards and school policies.
Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify health concerns and develop appropriate care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to promote a healthy school environment.
Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state regulations.
Educate students, staff, and families about health-related topics and preventive care measures.

Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Previous experience working as a school nurse or in pediatric nursing.
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
Knowledge of state regulations pertaining to school health services.
CPR and First Aid certification.
