Job Description

Sunbelt is looking to hire a dedicated and passionate English and Language Arts (ELA) Teacher. As an ELA Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students to develop their reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

Active Oregon teacher license
Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field
Previous teaching experience in general education is desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines
Foster a love of reading and literature through the exploration of various genres and texts
Provide instruction in grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills, including essay composition and creative writing
Facilitate class discussions and activities to promote critical thinking and analysis of literary works
