Job Description

Educational Sign Language Interpreter For High School Student 
We are looking to hire a full-time Sign Language Interpreter for the school year at our Bethany, OK area school. The hired Educational SLI will be attending class with x1 deaf and hard of hearing student, interpreting classroom lessons and activities. 

Job Type:

  • Hours: 9:05am-4:05pm daily, Monday-Friday; Must report when student is in session 
  • ASAP - June, 2024

Job Details:

  • 1:1 setting with High School student 
  • Will provide interpreting services 
  • Interpret in both sign to voice and voice to sign
  • Facilitate communication between student, teachers, and peers


Requirements:

  • Certification: Must have an EIPA score of 3.5  
  • Fluency in ASL required 
  • Pay Range: $27 - $30 per hour
