Job Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized and engaging virtual instruction to students with special needs.
Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans and materials that cater to diverse learning abilities.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and fellow educators to create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Utilize innovative teaching techniques and resources to address individual learning styles and challenges in an online setting.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and track achievements in alignment with IEP goals.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive virtual classroom environment that promotes students' social and academic growth.
Stay informed about best practices in special education and employ creative approaches to meet students' needs.

Qualifications:

Valid New Mexico teaching certification.
Math Endorsement
Demonstrated experience and expertise in teaching students with special needs.
Profound understanding of IEP development, implementation, and assessment.
Possession of a 1099 or liability insurance.

Successful completion of a basic technical screening.
Reliable high-speed internet and necessary technology for remote work.
