Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Darien, GA. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse learning needs and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, materials, and technology to engage students in learning.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress towards IEP goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid Special Education teaching certification/license in the state of Nebraska.
Experience working with students with a range of disabilities.
Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
