Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and qualified Virtual Special Education Teachers to join our client's dynamic virtual teaching team. As a 1099 contractor, you will collaborate with a team of passionate educators to deliver exceptional virtual special education instruction to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide engaging and inclusive virtual instruction tailored to meet the unique learning needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive virtual learning environment.
  • Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance the virtual learning experience.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes a sense of belonging for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid Arizona teaching license with endorsements in Special Education.
  • Experience in virtual or online teaching.
  • Knowledge of virtual learning platforms and educational technology.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Must pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of the platform Zoom)
