School-Based Occupational Therapist Job Near Benson, AZ

Sunbelt has a job opportunity for an Occupational Therapist for a school near Benson, Arizona.

  • 37.5 hour per week contract for the full school year
  • Caseloads range from K-12, with specific assignment to be determined based on your experience and skills, with preference taken into consideration

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing occupational therapy treatment plans for students with mild to moderate disabilities  
  • Demonstrating educational and developmental strategies for students and families for successful home exercises 
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings  
  • Adapting equipment to assure proper positioning and to enhance functional performance 
  • Additional responsibilities include maintaining thorough documentation, collaborating with classroom teachers, related service providers, and school administration, and providing direct and consult services

Qualifications:

  • Arizona Occupational Therapist License 
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card  
  • Recent school-based experience preferred
  • We will consider an OT with extensive pediatric experience in clinical or home health settings and knowledge of the IEP process
