Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a virtual capacity, serving schools in Virginia. As a Virtual School SLP, you will work remotely to provide assessments, evaluations, and therapy services to students in need of speech and language support. You will collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, helping students achieve their communication goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions and interventions to address speech and language disorders
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Virginia state license or ability to obtain licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment
  • Reliable internet connection and computer equipment for virtual sessions
