Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - School Setting

Job Summary:
Sunbelt is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic BCBA to join our educational team in Holliston, MA. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school setting is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention programs for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs. Utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), the BCBA collaborates with educators, administrators, and other professionals to develop individualized plans that promote positive behavior, social skills, and academic success. The BCBA also provides training and support to school staff to ensure effective implementation of behavior management strategies.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other assessments to identify the underlying factors contributing to challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
2. Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment data, utilizing evidence-based strategies and interventions.
3. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to establish clear goals and objectives for behavior intervention programs and monitor progress towards these goals.
4. Provide training and support to school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and support personnel, on effective implementation of behavior management techniques and strategies.
5. Conduct ongoing data collection and analysis to monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to behavior intervention plans.
6. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student cases, share progress updates, and collaborate on intervention strategies.
7. Provide direct consultation and support to teachers and other school staff on individual student cases, including conducting classroom observations and providing feedback.
8. Collaborate with special education personnel to ensure that behavior intervention plans are integrated with students' individualized education programs (IEPs) and support their overall educational goals.
9. Stay current with research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis and behavior management, and incorporate new developments into practice.
10. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:
1. Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education, or a related field.
2. Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
3. Experience working as a BCBA in a school or educational setting, preferably with students with special needs or behavioral challenges.
4. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques, including functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention planning.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
6. Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices related to behavior intervention and support.
7. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to inform decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
8. Ability to provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques and strategies.
9. Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional standards and guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
10. Continued professional development and willingness to stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis and education.
