Location: Virtual (based in Iowa)

We are currently seeking a fully licensed and experienced Special Education Teacher for a virtual position in Iowa. If you are passionate about providing exceptional educational support to students with special needs and have expertise in case management, we invite you to apply. Responsibilities:

Deliver virtual instruction and individualized support to students with special needs
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' strengths and areas for growth
Coordinate case management activities, including maintaining accurate records, attending IEP meetings, and preparing reports
Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive practices and appropriate accommodations for students
Monitor students' progress, behavior, and academic performance, providing timely interventions as needed
Foster a positive and inclusive virtual learning environment, supporting students' social-emotional development

Requirements:

Valid Iowa teaching license with Special Education endorsement
Proven experience and expertise in case management for students with special needs
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation processes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a virtual environment
Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms and technology
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage caseload
