Job Description

Summary: We are seeking a Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist to fill an opening for a school district in California. This SLP will provide teletherapy services to students in need of speech, language, and communication support. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders remotely, collaborating closely with school staff and families to facilitate student progress and success. This position is set to begin on March 8th at the earliest and will run through the end of the school year. There is potential for a 23/24 school year renewal. 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remote assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work full time, 37.5 hours/ week M-F
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs.
  • Deliver teletherapy sessions to students using appropriate digital platforms and tools.
  • Monitor and document student progress through regular progress reports and updates.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide input on goals, progress, and accommodations.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility for certification.
  • California state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state(s) where services will be provided.
  • Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and technology for service delivery.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
