Job Details:

Position: Virtual School Psychologist
Location: South Dakota (Virtual/Remote)
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract

Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals through virtual platforms to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
Provide virtual counseling and guidance services to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
Offer virtual support and resources to teachers and parents to enhance student well-being in a remote learning environment.
Participate in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and provide recommendations.
Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in school psychology, particularly in the virtual service delivery.

Requirements:

Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid School Psychologist license or certification in South Dakota.
Experience conducting virtual psychological assessments and interpreting assessment results.
Proficiency in designing and implementing virtual intervention strategies.
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and IEP development.
Excellent virtual communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
