Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join the team and provide exceptional services to a school district near Crystal Grove, IL. This is a contract position for the fast-approaching 2024-2025 academic year, offering a great opportunity to work with a supportive team of professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Illinois state licensure and Illinois Professional Educator licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
Prior experience in a school setting preferred

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
