Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel X-ray Technologist to join a dynamic team in Ithaca, NY. Utilize your skills in a fast-paced environment, performing a variety of diagnostic X-ray procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

Performing a variety of X-ray examinations
Collaborating with physicians and radiologists
Ensuring patient safety and comfort
Positioning patients for optimal image acquisition
Operating and maintaining X-ray equipment
Maintaining high-quality radiographic images
Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols
Documenting procedures and contributing to efficient workflow

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
New York State License
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work a 12-hour day shift.
