Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a qualified Travel X-ray Tech to join our team in Rochester, NY! In this dynamic role, you'll play a vital part in capturing high-quality diagnostic images for various patient examinations.

Responsibilities:

Position patients for X-ray procedures using proper technique
Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently
Capture clear and accurate diagnostic images
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to radiation safety protocols
Document patient care comprehensively

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
New York State License
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong fluoroscopy and OR skills (highly preferred)
Experience with portable C-arm equipment a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work a 40-hour week evening shift.
