Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified Travel X-Ray Technologist to join our team in beautiful Santa Fe, NM. You'll utilize your expertise in X-ray imaging to diagnose a wide range of medical conditions, contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
- Explain procedures to patients and address any anxieties.
- Position patients for examinations using appropriate immobilization devices.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and comfortable examination environment.
Imaging Operations:
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images using proper techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient encounter.
- May perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Effectively communicate examination results and patient interactions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and findings.

Qualifications:

NM State Licensure
ARRT (R) certification
BLS certification
2 years of recent X-ray experience
Must have experience in a hospital setting
Strong patient care and communication skills
