Sunbelt Staffing is searching for a dedicated Travel Radiology Technologist/ Cath Lab to join our team in picturesque Glens Falls, NY! Contribute to a team environment where you'll assist cardiologists in performing vital cardiac catheterization procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of X-ray examinations
- Collaborating with physicians and radiologists
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Positioning patients for optimal image acquisition
- Operating and maintaining X-ray equipment
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and electrophysiology studies.
- Prepare the Cath Lab, meticulously ensuring all equipment is sterile, functional, and readily available.
- Document procedures accurately and comprehensively.
- Maintaining high-quality radiographic images
- Adhering to strict radiation safety protocols
- Documenting procedures and contributing to efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program.
- New York State License
- ARRT (RT(R)) credential in Cath Lab certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced Cath Lab.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, teamwork abilities, and a focus on patient care are essential.
