Job Description

Sunbelt is now interviewing X-Ray Techs for a contract assignment in Woodbury, New Jersey. Must have two years experience in the field. Please have updated resume and two professional references ready.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
Certification:
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Licensing:
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.

Responsibilities:

Perform Diagnostic Imaging:
- Conduct X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient comfort and compliance during procedures, addressing any concerns or questions.
Radiation Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Maintain and update knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to radiography.
Patient Interaction:
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance as needed.
- Position patients accurately and efficiently for optimal imaging results.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary clinical information.
