Job Description

Sunbelt is now interviewing X-Ray Techs for a contract assignment in Woodbury, New Jersey. Must have two years experience in the field. Please have updated resume and two professional references ready. 

Qualifications:

  1. Education:

    • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  2. Certification:

    • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  3. Licensing:

    • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  4. Experience:

    • Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform Diagnostic Imaging:

    • Conduct X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
    • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
    • Ensure patient comfort and compliance during procedures, addressing any concerns or questions.
  2. Radiation Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
    • Maintain and update knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to radiography.
  3. Patient Interaction:

    • Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance as needed.
    • Position patients accurately and efficiently for optimal imaging results.
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary clinical information.
