Sunbelt is looking for a Radiation Therapist for an open job in Tyler, TX. Experienced travelers and newcomers are welcome to apply!

Job Description: The Radiation Therapist will administer ionizing radiation to the cancer patient for localization and treatment of tumor volumes as prescribed by the physician. The Radiation Therapist will maintain daily patient treatment records and ensure the general well-being of the patient throughout the entire course of therapy.

Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift
Desired start date: May start

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
First-timers accepted: (Y/N): Yes

Job Details:

Hours per Week: 40
Shift time: Monday to Friday (7:30 am to 4:30 pm)
On call requirements: None
Equitment:
- ELEKTA VERSA HD/INFINITY linear accelerators (required)
- VARIAN TRUEBEAM linear accelerator (required)
- ELEKTA MOSAIQ Oncology Management System (required)
- SUN NUCLEAR QA equipment (preferred)
- Philips CT Scanner (optional)
- Microsoft Excel

Certification Requirements:

ARRT Certification
BLS (AHA) preferred
Texas state license
