Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join our team in Morristown, NJ! This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in a fast-paced environment while exploring a vibrant and historic region.

Qualifications:

New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License required
ARRT certification
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as an IR Tech or Cardiovascular Technologist is required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) approved program is mandatory.
Skill demonstration in basic life support measures is a must.
Demonstrate strong technical skills and proficiency with fluoroscopy equipment.
Maintain excellent attention to detail and aseptic technique.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Schedule:

13 week contract
8 hour days
40 hours a week
Weekend on-call may be required (details provided during interview).

Contribute to a wide range of minimally invasive procedures:

Assist physicians in performing image-guided interventions in a IR environment.
Utilize fluoroscopy equipment to ensure optimal visualization during procedures.
Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and contrast media according to protocols.
Perform procedures like thoracentesis, paracentesis, and various embolizations.
Assist with catheter placements, CT biopsies, and other interventional techniques.
