Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing if looking for a qualified Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join our team in Ft. Myers, FL. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced IR Tech to utilize their expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting while exploring the vibrant city of Ft. Myers.

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians in performing a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, embolization, biopsies, drain insertions, and vascular interventions.
Prepare the interventional radiology suite and equipment for procedures, ensuring sterility and proper function of all supplies and instrumentation.
Position patients for procedures using safe and effective techniques.
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes, communicating them clearly to the medical team.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation throughout the procedure.
Participate in departmental quality control initiatives.

Requirements:

Active Florida State License in Radiography
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Interventional Radiology (IR) or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an IR Technologist
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience with fluoroscopy and angiography equipment
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

Shift:

Full-time, 0630am - 0500pm with on-call rotation
13 weeks contract
