Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a skilled First Assist RN for a thriving surgical team in Rochester, NY!

Job Description:

Assist surgeons during various surgical procedures.
Prepare the operating room, instruments, and sterile supplies.
Anticipate the surgeon's needs and ensure a smooth surgical flow.
Provide patient care and monitor vital signs during surgery.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license in the state of New York
Minimum of 2 years of recent, related experience in the operating room
Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification
Proficiency in surgical scrubbing and circulating
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures

In this role, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care. Your responsibilities will include preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative assistance to the surgeon, and postoperative patient care.
