Job Title: CT Tech Traveler

Location: Waterbury, CT

Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT (CT)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel position in Waterbury, CT. As a CT Tech, you will operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images for medical interpretation by radiologists and other physicians. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort during procedures, and maintaining accurate records of procedures performed.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
Ensure safety protocols are followed to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions promptly.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
Document procedures accurately in patient records and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements:

Current BLS certification.
ARRT (CT) certification.
Previous experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
