Job Description

Travel Certified Surgical Technologists seeking professional growth and the chance to explore breathtaking natural landscapes? Sunbelt Staffing has the perfect opportunity for you! This 13-week contract in Ithaca, NY, offers a unique blend of career advancement and outdoor exploration.

Qualifications:

Minimum of two years of recent, related experience as a Certified Surgical Technician is required.
Orthopedics (total joints, fractures, arthroscopies)
C-Sections, Podiatry, Gynecology, General Surgery
Prior to submittal, candidates must possess CST certification through NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures across various specialties.
Prepare the sterile field, instruments, and equipment according to established protocols.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of surgical equipment.
Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and maintain clear communication.
