Job Title: Travel Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Contract Position
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Duration: 8-13 Weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking adventurous and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a travel contract position in home health care in the vibrant city of Albuquerque, NM. This is an exciting opportunity for LPNs who enjoy exploring new destinations while making a positive impact on patients' lives.

Position Details:

Duration: 8-13 weeks, with potential for extension
Shifts: Variable shifts available
Pay: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications

Requirements:

Active New Mexico LPN license or ability to obtain licensure in NM
Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health care
Proficiency with Homecare Homebase software is preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
Utilize Homecare Homebase software for accurate documentation and efficient patient care management.
Perform skilled nursing assessments, wound care, medication administration, and other nursing interventions as directed by the care plan.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
Provide patient and caregiver education on disease management, medication management, and self-care techniques.
