Job Title: Travel Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Contract Position
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Duration: 8-13 Weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking adventurous and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a travel contract position in home health care in the vibrant city of Albuquerque, NM. This is an exciting opportunity for LPNs who enjoy exploring new destinations while making a positive impact on patients' lives.

Position Details:

  • Duration: 8-13 weeks, with potential for extension
  • Shifts: Variable shifts available
  • Pay: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications

Requirements:

  • Active New Mexico LPN license or ability to obtain licensure in NM
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health care
  • Proficiency with Homecare Homebase software is preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
  • Utilize Homecare Homebase software for accurate documentation and efficient patient care management.
  • Perform skilled nursing assessments, wound care, medication administration, and other nursing interventions as directed by the care plan.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on disease management, medication management, and self-care techniques.
