Job Description

Now hiring in the Libertyville, Illinois area for a Certified Surgical Tech to join our travel team. This is a 13-week contract assignment working 40-hours per week at one of our partner facilities.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and Set-up: Prepare surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies needed for surgical procedures according to the surgeon's preference and specific requirements of the procedure.
Assistance During Surgery: Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other sterile supplies. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Maintaining Sterile Field: Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

Certification: Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from an accredited program.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
Experience: Previous experience working as a Surgical Technician preferred.
