Job Description

Sunbelt is now interviewing Cath Lab Techs for a contract assignment in Passaic, New Jersey. Must have two years experience in the field. Please have updated resume and two professional references ready.

Responsibilities:

Procedure Assistance:
- Assist physicians and healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional and diagnostic procedures.
- Operate and maintain specialized catheterization equipment, ensuring its proper functionality.
Patient Care:
- Prepare and position patients for catheterization procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during the procedure.
Equipment Operation:
- Set up and operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems, to visualize and record images of the heart and vascular system.
- Troubleshoot and address any technical issues with equipment during procedures.

Requirements:

Education:
- Associate degree or certificate in Cardiovascular Technology or a related field.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist is preferred.
Certifications:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) certification is highly desirable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
