Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time opportunity supporting elementary students in the San Jose, CA area. Position Details

  • Location: San Jose, CA
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • School Year: August 12, 2026 June 9, 2027
  • Elementary school setting
  • Assignment may include supporting students across two nearby campuses or serving full-time at a single campus
  • Collaborative team environment with strong administrative and educational support

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify students' communication needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with each student's educational goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in individual and small-group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and other related service providers to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, complete progress reports, and actively participate in IEP meetings.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to improve speech, language, social communication, and overall functional communication skills.

Student Population

  • Elementary-aged students
  • Students with a variety of speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and social communication needs

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology License or California Teaching Credential/Certification
  • School-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates from other pediatric settings are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
