Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for a school-based opportunity in the Detroit area. This position is based at one K12 center program and primarily supports students with cognitive impairments. Youll also work alongside additional OTs onsite, providing a collaborative and supportive therapy environment.

Position Details

  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • One K12 center-based program
  • Primarily supporting students with cognitive impairments
  • Additional Occupational Therapists available onsite for support
  • On-site position
  • Interviews available immediately

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to K12 students
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Support students with functional, motor, sensory, and school-based needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related-service professionals
  • Participate in IEPs and maintain accurate therapy documentation

Qualifications

  • Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license
  • School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
  • Comfortable working with K12 students with cognitive impairments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
