Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Britton (serving nearby areas including Tecumseh and Deerfield)
Schedule: Full-Time
Assignment Dates: August 17, 2026 December 22, 2026 (First semester leave coverage)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services for the first semester of the 20262027 school year. This is a temporary leave coverage position working with a PreK8th grade caseload across a small group of nearby schools.
Position Details:
- Caseload: PreK8th grade students
- Schools: Split between school sites in Britton, Tecumseh, and Deerfield (all within 1015 minutes of each other)
- Schedule: Full-time hours (daily schedule to be confirmed)
- Duration: First semester coverage (8/17/26 12/22/26)
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to goal development
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Michigan OT license (or ability to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
