This travel position provides exceptional exposure to a diverse patient base, focusing on serving a predominantly Native American community. Youll broaden your clinical acumen and enhance your resume by navigating a wide range of therapy needs across pediatric to geriatric populations and taking part in specialty services and clinics. Collaborating with professionals from various disciplines, youll gain hands-on experience in different approaches to care and leadership, all while working within a facility dedicated to continuous quality improvement.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Regular work week (weekday schedule; weekend services currently unavailable)

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
  • Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license (Arizona or any U.S. state/territory)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Completion of all credentialing requirements for Medical Staff privileges

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and/or language therapy services for developmental, cognitive, and physical rehabilitation
  • Assess, plan, and implement therapy regimens for patients from birth to geriatrics
  • Document evaluations and treatment outcomes in electronic health records
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on therapeutic procedures and home programs
  • Deliver specialty services (swallowing evaluation, VFSS/MBS, FEES, cognitive/voice/pediatric therapies)
  • Support quality improvement, risk management, and safety initiatives
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous education
