With an average of 10-15 patients per day, the environment ensures both variety and manageable caseloads, allowing for meaningful patient interaction and comprehensive care.
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of SLP experience required (outpatient rehab highly preferred)
- Previous travel assignment experience required (no first-time travelers at this time)
- Active Georgia SLP license and BLS certification
- Strong clinical skills with complex patient populations
Schedule/Hours:
- Patient appointments scheduled in 30-minute intervals, with 1-hour blocks for complex evaluations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to a varied caseload, adjusting plans as patient needs evolve
- Work collaboratively with an established team (2 therapists, Office Coordinator, Rehab Aide)
- Document patient progress in EPIC EMR and maintain communication with both team members and referring providers
