Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in a hospital setting
- Current and unrestricted CA SLP license
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Adaptability and a passion for making a difference in patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop customized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to a diverse patient population
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, progress, and strategies for continued success
- Document all treatments and progress using hospital systems and protocols
