As a Speech Language Pathologist at a hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic, youll treat a wide range of patients and collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team. This setting provides daily opportunities to develop your clinical skills through exposure to various patient diagnoses, workplace practices, and leadership styles.
Schedule/Hours
- Outpatient clinic; typically 10-15 patients per day
- Sessions are scheduled in 30-minute intervals; complex evaluations span one hour
- Five-day orientation provided
Key Qualifications
- Current Georgia SLP license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of one year of relevant SLP experience required
- Prior travel assignment experience is highly preferred
- Outpatient rehab experience is strongly desired; first-time travelers will not be considered
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, neurological, debility, stroke/CVA, multi-trauma, and fracture diagnoses
- Utilize EMR (EPIC) for documentation and departmental workflows
- Collaborate with a compact team including two therapists, an office coordinator, and a rehab aide
- Maintain professional attire (teal/black polos provided, slacks, clean shoes), and uphold patient care and safety standards
