Schedule/Hours

Qualifications

  • Valid California SLP license (required)
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based speech therapy experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptability in diverse and evolving clinical situations

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in acute care patients
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic processes and at-home practices
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per hospital standards
