A professional opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in hospital-based therapy. This role offers 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing a stable 40-hour workweek. The assignment is located within a 75-mile radius of Prestonsburg, KY, with the primary site situated at a 340-bed medical center known for a diverse patient population and comprehensive care services.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist required
• Minimum experience applicable to hospital settings preferred
• Proficiency in Epic charting system for accurate and timely documentation
• Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Adherence to healthcare vaccine policies, including COVID-19 vaccination or compliance with weekly PCR testing if a medical or religious exemption applies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech language pathology services to inpatient populations
• Manage and adjust patient care plans based on ongoing assessments and clinical findings
