Schedule/Hours:

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting desired
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient communication skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Effective documentation and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive evaluation and treatment services to inpatients and outpatients
- Develop individualized therapy plans targeted to each patients goals
- Document all interventions according to hospital policies and best practices
- Educate patients and families on communication/swallowing strategies
- Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and medical staff to coordinate care
