Job Description
Provide essential speech therapy services in a pediatric outpatient setting, focusing on helping young patients improve communication and swallowing abilities. This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote the best possible outcomes for each child.
Location: Based in New London, MN, this position offers the opportunity to serve families in a welcoming and supportive community known for its small-town charm and scenic surroundings.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Five-day, full-time schedule with consistent daytime hours
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic
- Design and deliver customized therapy plans based on individual patient needs
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to monitor progress
- Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in the state of Minnesota
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an SLP
- Ability to commit to the specified schedule and meet the requirement of living at least 25 miles from the facility
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children
