An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide expert therapy services within a hospital setting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and cognitive-communication assessments for patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients needs.
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to improve speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication functions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure treatment consistency.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals and strategies for communication improvement.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills in speech and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
