Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based evaluation and treatment for patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders within an acute care setting
- Develop individualized care plans tailored to each patients unique needs and goals
- Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and support for ongoing therapy
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid state licensure, or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting strongly desired
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
